My Artwork
Here you can view several selections of Art Media I have chosen to express myself. Each one offered a challenge & the use of a learned skill, a sensitive eye for design, composition and color that pleased me. My art and photography work is part of many collections and has been accepted in many shows & exhibitions over the years. I have shown my Artwork three times at Lincoln Center’s Cork Gallery in NYC.

… My Background
Studies & workshops with several prominent artists have provided an opportunity to develop skills in various media. Gail Op was responsible for a deep interest in oriental painting and Sumie, Claude Ponsot & Robert Carter have helped me hone skills in charcoal rendering and drawing, Edgar Whitney, Eloise Gardiner and Robert E. Wood taught me techniques of watercolor, Jeff Webb and Jo Hing Lo inspired an interest in pastel portraiture. Calligraphy became an obsession after joining a local group of scribes and attending several workshops. I became obsessed with the many facets of it. An interest in photography lead me to take a course in photographing Artwork. A service resulted photographing artists work. I also used my camera to record photos that inspired paintings or helped in the process. Recently, digital photography has opened new horizons for me. This new field, with the help of computer software, virtually gives one all the tools necessary to manipulate and be creative with photos.
I’m a fine artist, calligrapher, graphic designer:
Photography is a favorite media. I rely on photos for inspiration and for recording my, and other artists, work. You are welcome to view my other albums containing fine art work and graphics.

~DEATH~
WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY TO EXPLAIN IT ..
A sick man turned to his doctor as he was preparing to
Leave the examination room and said,
‘Doctor, I am afraid to die.
Tell me what lies on the other side.’
Very quietly, the doctor said, ‘I don’t know…’
‘You don’t know? You’re, a Christian man,
and don’t know what’s on the other side?’
The doctor was holding the handle of the door;
On the other side came a sound of scratching and whining,
And as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room
And leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.
Turning to the patient, the doctor said,
‘Did you notice my dog?
He’s never been in this room before.
He didn’t know what was inside.
He knew nothing except that his master was here,
And when the door opened, he sprang in without fear.
I know little of what is on the other side of death,
But I do know one thing…
I know my Master is there and that is enough.

This is a great start, there will be much more to come! God bless you mom! I miss you !
Ralph and Eileen are wonderful memories that live on and on.
